Folklore without Borders Ostrava is an international folklore festival held annually during the third week of August. Its 28th edition will take place from Monday, 17 August, to Friday, 21 August 2026.
Over five days, the festival will travel through the five districts of Ostrava, showcasing to audiences the folklore traditions, dances, songs, and costumes of the Czech Republic and various parts of the world.
All festival days except Friday are free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages—from families with children to seniors—will find something to enjoy.
